Hiking with my BCA friends at DanaBari

Hiking with my BCA friends at DanaBari was an exhilarating experience that allowed us to escape the hustle and bustle of city life and immerse ourselves in the tranquility of nature. After completing an exam, we eagerly embarked on our journey, seeking the refreshing air and serene surroundings that DanaBari promised.

Prior to our departure, we meticulously researched various hiking destinations, ultimately selecting DanaBari for its picturesque landscapes and remote location, approximately 15km from Dharan. To reach DanaBari, we had to traverse hills, which added an adventurous flair to our expedition.

Our day began early as we gathered at the Dharan Bus Stand, excited chatter filling the air as we prepared for our journey. We made sure to fuel up with tea, coffee, and biscuits, eager to kick-start our day with some much-needed energy. Boarding the bus bound for Dharan, we were filled with anticipation for the day ahead.

As we set out from Dharan around 6:30 am, the beauty of the city greeted us, its charm enhanced by the gentle morning light. The weather was ideal for hiking, with a cool breeze accompanying us as we began our ascent. With provisions of water and snacks in tow, our group of 10 embarked on the trail, each step bringing us closer to the tranquility of DanaBari.

The weather in Dharan was lovely, and the city looked especially nice from the hills as we started our hike. Even though there was a Welcome Program at our college that same day, we were more excited about exploring DanaBari and spending time with each other.

We walked pretty quickly, eager to reach DanaBari. After about half an hour, we reached a high point where we could see Dharan City below. It was a breathtaking view, so we took some photos before continuing on our way.

We kept up the pace, chatting and laughing as we went. After three hours of walking, we finally arrived at DanaBari. The air was so fresh, and it felt great to take a break and relax. We took more photos and enjoyed some snacks we brought from home.

On the way back, we came across an old jeep and couldn't resist taking some pictures with it. Overall, our hike to DanaBari was a success. It was so nice to spend time in nature with friends, and I'm looking forward to our next adventure together.

Nepal is a breathtakingly beautiful country, one that truly inspires awe and offers incredible diversity. I'll try not to ramble too much or sound overly sentimental, but Nepal is undeniably one of those destinations that leaves a lasting impression. Prior to my visit, I assumed that the Himalayas and Kathmandu were the sole highlights, and while these are undoubtedly incredible, Nepal has so much more to offer. The country is a treasure trove of amazing places beyond its majestic mountains and bustling capital.

Location: Google Point

Firstly, I wake up at 4 am and start getting fresh and ready for the day. After I'm ready, I start packing some food to eat. Around 5:50 am, I leave home. My friends and I gather at Itahari Chowk and take a bus up to Charali. We reach around 7:30 am, where we have some breakfast. Then, we take the
next bus to Harkate.

At Harkate, our trekking adventure begins.
Before starting the trek, we enjoy some coffee and biscuits. From Harkate, we move towards Google Point, which is around 15 km away. We carry plenty of water, bread, eggs, meat, etc., with us. As we trek, we admire the breathtaking views along the way. After walking for about 30 minutes, we are rewarded with a stunning view of the clouds.

Around 3 hours of walking, we finally reach our destination, which is Google Point Hill. Feeling exhausted, we decide to take a break and eat some food. While enjoying our meal, we take some photos, capturing the moments of our trekking adventure.
